I've been trying to design for some time now with some small victories along the way, but mostly living in blah-dom. Coming across grid based techniques has really helped me make some leaps in my designs.

I thought it would be nice to share what I'd discovered on the topic with people, so another niche design site is born.

Following the same path as LightOnDark, which aimed to promote the use of dark background, light foreground sites, Design By Grid aims to promote is own design niche: The use of grid based techniques in web design.

The site contains a showcase, and links to articles, tutorials, and resource for people looking for inspiration or a little help in their grid based work.
