For as long as I've had this domain its run on a custom CMS, but I'm thinking of porting the content and design over to Wordpress.
I've been using Wordpress on a few projects recently, and I've been very impressed with how easy its been to extend it past a raw blogging CMS.
Add in the hundreds of plugins that have been written for Wordpress and maybe I'm just lazy but you can get a website to do just about anything in minutes.

Thanks for the comments, sorry for the lateness of the reply (will post about that later).
I am a programmer, but I'm not building CMSs for my blogs all day long, and would like to use some of the features that Wordpress has out of the box, as well as the many plugins that exist.
It really wouldn't be hard to recreate my website in Wordpress, but we shall see...

WordPress is the right choice for a blog. The new 2.5 version packs a few great new features along with internal code cleanup and bug squashing.

What about ExpressionEngine? The core version is free for private use, and the personal/commercial versions are a bargain when you look at the time involved to get it setup and customize, and what it does for you without having to do a lot of heavy coding. EE2.0 will even run off the CodeIgniter PHP framework, when it's released.
Just an option. :)

Wordpress rocks socks, I love it to pieces. The skinning interface is particularly nice for a redesign too.

Not sure i'm with you here..
I find wordpress an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with, inline / embedded html/php/js/xml . . .*puke*
You might also want to check alot of the templates aswell as alot have malicious code embedded in.. realeased to the masses, then hacked and links for viagra slipped in !
