Light on Dark was the first design gallery I built.

While working on the Hustle website for AMC TV with Area17, we decided to use a deliciously dark color scheme. When I surfed around looking for similar designs for inspiration, I found very few.

I like the Light on Dark style very much so I decided to create LightOnDark.com to help promote websites that used that style.

Light on Dark isn’t updated as much as the other design galleries out there, not because I’m not constantly looking for sites to showcase, but I because I found so few that I feel should be showcased.
